LifeTaq-Analytics GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “LifeTaq”) would like to thank you for your interest in our website. The company is following national (DSGVO, DSG 2018, TKG 2003) and European data protection regulations (EU General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2000 and the Data Protection Amendment Act 2018) and takes data protection very seriously.

Thus, we provide information about all data LifeTaq may wish to save and process. In addition, you get an overview about how we use such data.

Legal Basis

Personal information (Name, Address, Credit Card Details, phone number, email-address, sex, IP-Address) will be collected, stored and processed by LifeTaq. You hereby agree to this especially for reasons of customer services, contract fulfilment, contract claim assertion and advertising.

The legitimate interests, the fulfillment of our legal or contractual obligations as well as your consent (in terms of cookies, contact form, newsletters etc.) are the basis for data processing of your personal information.

LifeTaq collaborates with external service providers for our website operations. These third parties can gain access to personal data stored by LifeTaq for various tasks including contract processing, invoicing, marketing or other purposes, if you have consented to them. Examples for these tasks are orders processes and distributions our products by service companies (logistic & transport companies, banks etc.). However, they only receive the data in order to fulfill their individual tasks and may not use the data for any other purpose.

Duration of Data Storage

LifeTaq is processing personal data for the duration of the entire business relationship. This starts at the business initiation, proceeds at the execution and ends at the termination of a contract. We process the data according to the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and the Federal Tax Code (BAO). Further, LifeTaq complies to the statutory limitation periods (Verjährungsfristen).

You remain anonymous as a common visitor of LifeTaq’s website. We record data for analytical and statistical purposes only including LifeTaq’s webpages you clicked on, the website you used to get to our website, internet service providers, your IP address as well as date and duration as a visitor.

Newsletter

By filling out LifeTaq’s contact form you also agree to receive newsletters. You will receive an email upon registration for confirmation purposes. Unsubscription or change of preferences is possible at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button on the bottom of every LifeTaq Newsletter. Further, you agree to the storage and processing of your personal data for the delivery of promotion newsletters. You can revoke your consent at any time by sending a letter to LifeTaq-Analytics GmbH, Technopark 1, Objekt C, A-3430 Tulln or by sending an email to info@lifetaq.com.

LifeTaq is using specific processors for newsletter distribution, who committed themselves to work according to the data protection regulations. Processing contracts were signed according to Art 28 DSGVO and data processing is regulated according to § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a DSGVO.

Contact Form

If you decide to fill out our contact form and drop us a line, your data includes sensible personal information. This data will be transferred to LifeTaq in order to process your request and subsequently stored by us and/or our service providers. LifeTaq may not collect and/or share this data without your consent but will not be able to process your message (§ 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a DSGVO).

Online Shopping

LifeTaq records the IP data, name, address and credit card number of subscribers as cookies for the purpose of online purchases and contract processing. This data is needed to meet the criteria for our contracts, which is not possible without it.

For the purpose of charging the purchase price, delivery of the products and fulfilling our tax obligations, your data may be transmitted to third parties (e.g. banks, transport companies or tax advisors), who have committed themselves to work according the data protection regulations. Processing contracts were signed according to Art 28 DSGVO.

All data will be stored for 7 years until the expiry of the tax retention period. Specific data (name, address, purchase date, purchased products) are stored for 10 years until the product liability ends.

The data processing is regulated according to § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a DSGVO.

Security

The Federal Act concerning the Protection of Personal Data (DSG 2000, EU General Data Protection Regulation, DSG 2018) is the basis for LifeTaq and all third parties involved in data processing. Thus, we are obliged to confidentiality in processing of personal data. We aim for adequate data protection measures and update our security measurements on a regular basis. LifeTaq employed technical and organizational security measures in order to keep the stored personal data safe against intentional or accidental abuse, loss or destruction and by unauthorized access.

SSL or TLS encryption

LifeTaq’s website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection in your browser’s address line when it changes from “http://” to “https://” and the lock icon is displayed in your browser’s address bar.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transfer to LifeTaq cannot be read by third parties.

Google Analytics

LifeTaq implemented Google (Universal) Analytics on this website. This is a web-analysis service from Google Inc. (www.google.com). Due to this service we may analyze the activities of website users by introducing “cookies” (small text files stored on your device) or other methods. By visiting our website information is sent to a server from Google in the USA. You may choose to use the IP-anonymize function on our website. Then your IP address is compressed within the member countries of the European Union or in other contracting countries that took part in the agreement of the European Union for the European Economic Area, before further transfer. There may be some exceptions when the full IP address gets transferred to a Google server in the USA. Please take into account that anonymized IP addresses transferred by Google Analytics are not combined with other Google data.

LifeTaq holds a data processing contract with the provider, who is also bound to the applicable data protection regulations according to Art 28 DSGVO. Data processing is part of the legal regulations of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 DSGVO.

Cookies

As a visitor of our website, you may us cookies. You may accept of refuse cookies in your browser settings. Our website may not function properly if you refuse certain cookies. Additionally, some cookies may be stored on the device you used to access our website.

By using cookies, the visitor’s browser can be recognized for optimization purposes of the website. Further the increase simplicity, user-friendliness, effectiveness and security overall.  This helps us to adopt our websites and offers to your needs. The personal identity of the website visitor will not be recorded by data collection via cookies. LifeTaq uses services of external websites on this website. These third parties set cookies on your machine primarily in form of sharing buttons to allow visitors to share content on social media networks including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google. Scripts from other domains are needed to implement these buttons on our website. Please be aware that the mentioned websites track your internet presence permanently, also on LifeTaq’s website. If you wish to terminate the tracking, please refer to the respective policies of the third party.

This website uses the Google Maps map service via an API. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

The company in charge of LinkedIn is the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For data protection matters outside of the US LinkedIn Ireland, Privacy Policy Issues is responsible at Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Managing Cookies in your Browser Application

Firefox:

Chrome:

You can manage your cookies under the Privacy section. Further, there are options to delete selected cookies or all cookies in general as well as blocking or allowing them. See your Chrome browser menu for more details.

Internet Explorer:

Find your cookie settings in the Internet Options on the Tools menu. There is an option for Privacy with six general settings: Block All Cookies, High, Medium High, Medium (default level), Low, and Accept All Cookies. You may find more information in the How to Manage Cookies settings.

Rights

Generally, you always have the right to get more information about your specific personal data stored by our service provider or LifeTaq. You also have the right to insist on deleting this data and/or object to its processing in case of no statutory storage obligation. Further, you have the right to update or correct the data, restrict the processing and/or the transfer of it as well as to contact the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, e-mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at) in terms of complaints.

Right of Withdrawal and Consent

If you have filled out our Contact Form, you are registered online. You have the right to edit your account information anytime by visiting “Edit Account Information” page. You may update your personal data or withdraw permissions to use your personal data at any time.
LifeTaq does not store or process data of people below 18 years of age.

In case your consent is a requisite for the processing of the data, LifeTaq will not process them prior to your express consent. If you wish to withdraw your consent, you can always do this by sending us an email to info@lifetaq.com.

Privacy Policy Updates

LifeTaq is aiming for a policy that is always up-to-date. In case of significant changes, we will notify you by placing email and/or pop-ups on our site.
